Our social cohesion programme recognises that our communities are multi-racial and multi-generational. This diversity offers the opportunity to model how we can live together harmoniously. The programme makes strategic interventions to foster meaningful and lasting social cohesion.
Our interventions include deep conversations about South Africa’s history and what makes our people different and the same. The interventions also include various social and cultural activities (e.g. soccer clubs, choir, dance classes, etc.) which intentionally build bridges across social groups within the community. Skills development in conflict resolution is also included to ensure that disputes can be settled as they arise.
